POWER-SYSTEM MATCHING
CEN's Reeper SC platform uses a 3660-size 4000KV brushless motor in its factory power system. Motor performance and reliability still depend on ESC capability, battery voltage, gearing, tire diameter, vehicle load and cooling. GASHEAD RC recommends matching the exact CR1802 part number and factory gearing before installation rather than selecting by 3660 can size alone.
INSTALLATION NOTES
- Confirm the vehicle calls for CR1802 before installation.
- Verify pinion bore, tooth count and gear pitch separately before reusing or replacing the pinion.
- Set motor-to-spur gear mesh with slight, even backlash across a full spur rotation.
- Secure the motor so it cannot shift under load.
- Check phase-wire connections and rotation direction before driving.
- Monitor motor and ESC temperature after any gearing, tire-size or battery change.
