Build a narrow, period-correct trail truck with RC4WD’s 1.55-inch Landies Vintage beadlock wheels. The stamped-steel construction, five-lug scale face, white powder-coated finish and pin-drive arrangement deliver the deep-dish stance associated with classic Land Rover and utility-truck builds.

DESIGNED FOR A TRUE VINTAGE STANCE

Z-W0076 is not simply a smaller 1.9-inch wheel. Its 1.55-inch diameter, narrow 20.5 mm width and 8 mm negative offset are intended to keep tire proportions and track width appropriate for classic scale bodies. The pin-drive layout reduces unnecessary mounting depth and contributes to the deeper dish.

MANUFACTURER SPECIFICATIONS

Compare these measurements with the existing wheel and body before ordering. Offset controls more than appearance: it affects track width, fender coverage, steering clearance and tire contact with suspension links.

BEADLOCK FUNCTION

The beadlock construction mechanically captures the tire bead, allowing the wheel and tire to be serviced without gluing. Correct assembly depends on even bead seating. A tire can look centered from the front while part of the rear bead is folded or pinched, so inspect both sides around the entire circumference.

1. Inspect the tire beads and wheel surfaces for molding flash, dirt or damage.
2. Place the foam evenly inside the tire without twists or bunching.
3. Center the internal components and start all screws by hand.
4. Tighten gradually in a crossing pattern—do not fully tighten one screw first.
5. Check the bead after each tightening pass.
6. Rotate the finished assembly by hand and look for wobble before mounting it to the truck.

TIRE COMPATIBILITY

RC4WD specifically lists the Pit Bull Growler 1.55 Scale Tire as fitting this wheel. RC4WD also shows Z-W0076 in official application photography with Dick Cepek Fun Country 1.55 tires and Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ P3 1.55 tires. Those tires are examples only and are not included.

Tire beads vary by brand and production design. Treat “1.55-inch” as the starting point, not the entire fitment test; cross-brand combinations still require careful bead inspection during assembly.

OPTIONAL NARROW HUB SYSTEM

RC4WD Z-S1940 is the optional narrow five-lug pin-mount hub made specifically for this wheel. RC4WD states that it narrows offset by 3.6 mm compared with the stock wheel hub. That change pulls the wheel inward and can improve fender coverage on the correct axle, but it also reduces clearance around steering and suspension components.

Important: Z-S1940 does not fit Axial SCX10 or SCX10 II axle threads. Do not purchase that hub for those axles expecting a washer to solve the incompatibility.
