The CEN Racing CD0423 is a metal shock hoop designed for DL-Series applications with RGB lighting integration. The shock hoop is a structural chassis component: it provides the upper mounting point for the shock absorber while also supporting the lighting configuration used on compatible CEN DL-Series builds.

Because the upper shock mount determines shock position and operating angle, the hoop must remain rigid and correctly aligned. A bent or damaged shock hoop can change suspension motion, create side-loading on the shock shaft, and introduce binding that no amount of shock tuning will fix.

WHY THE SHOCK HOOP MATTERS

The shock hoop fixes the upper end of the damper to the chassis. Its position controls the shock’s effective angle, leverage ratio, and available movement.
